At The Listeners, we know that everybody needs to express their thoughts and feelings often, in a safe space without fear of judgement or fear of burdening others.
We believe this to be a basic need for all human beings.
It is scientifically proven that the benefits of doing so are numerous.
Such as, a clearer more peaceful inner space.
Increased mental clarity around challenges and personal issues.
An increased feeling of lightness of being.
A decrease in feelings of stress and emotional burnout.
Increased self-awareness and personal growth due to important self-realisations occurring whilst expressing oneself verbally.
The fact is, it's healthy to vent now and then and at the Listeners we're here to listen and support. We'll only give our opinions if they are asked for.

Release therapy is a term invented by us here at the listeners because we have recognised the intense benefits of releasing thoughts, feelings and emotions on a regular basis.
For various reasons it's not always something people are able to do easily and regularly.
At times we may feel that it's easier and safer to speak to a stranger. Sometimes we may not feel that it's appropriate to express certain things to friends and family or sometimes we find that we are struggling, and our support system is temporarily unavailable.
There are many reasons that using the listeners is a healthy and intelligent choice when managing one's mental /emotional well-being. At the listeners we believe that release therapy is an important part of self-care.
Release therapy differs from traditional counselling and psychology in the sense that it is neither of those things. It is purely what it is.
A healthy and simple act of self care in the form of just letting everything out that needs to be let out, there is not always the need to analyse it or change it or fix it.
Sometimes you just simply need to release it and that's all.
I founded The Listeners because during my work as a counsellor and healer I discovered a great need exists for people to simply express themselves freely in a safe space without fear of burdening others or being judged. I come from a space of deep compassion for all human beings.
I hold a diploma in holistic counselling, I've been doing intuitive readings for many years and I'm a pranic healer.
Listening deeply while holding space for your story is one of my gifts. Old stories can take up a lot of space in mind, body and field. When given space to be expressed it can be moved and transformed. I am a witness to your story. I've been doing this in many settings for many years. You are not alone.
I hold a Diploma in life coaching, Diploma in western herbal medicine. Reiki Master.
I'm often told I'm very easy to talk to and make people feel at ease. I think it's because I listen without judgement and only offer an opinion or advice if asked.
I've worked many years in the healthcare industry.
